Our physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. Our physicians are members of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Association of Northern California Oncologists (ANCO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Alameda-Contra Costa County Medical Association (ACCMA). Our physicians participate in clinical trials sponsored by the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project (NSABP), among others.

Elizabeth A. Odumakinde, M.D.

Born in Nigeria, Elizabeth A. Odumakinde, M.D. immigrated to California as a young woman. She performed her premedical course work at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California and at the University of California, Berkeley. She received a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Odumakinde later attended medical school at the University of California, Davis; she performed her internship and residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Martinez, California. She served as a fellow in hematology and oncology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Odumakinde was instrumental in setting up the Sutter Solano Cancer Center program, where she later served as the Medical Director.

Beverly F. McLeod, M.D.

Beverly F. McLeod, M.D. received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her internship at Highland General Hospital in Oakland, California, and her residency in internal medicine at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Martinez, California. She completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. Dr. McLeod worked as the Medical Director for the Adult Sickle Cell Program at Alta Bates-Herrick Hospital in Berkeley, California, for two years.

Prior to joining Mount Diablo Solano Oncology Group, Dr. McLeod worked for over 14 years as a staff medical oncologist in the oncology department at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Martinez and Walnut Creek. While at Kaiser, she served on the Breast Cancer Task Force and on the Quality Peer Review Committee. She currently serves on the Institutional Review Committee for the John Muir Hospital located in Concord.

Lesley C. Martin, M.D.

Lesley C. Martin, M.D. was raised in southern Ohio, but moved to California early in her college career. She obtained a master's degree in mathematics prior to attending medical school. She attended the Joint Medical Program of the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco, obtaining both a master's degree in health science and a medical degree. Her thesis involved describing the lived experience of women with cancer. Her internship, residency and fellowship were performed at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. She also served as Chief Resident for that training program.

Yelena Krupitskaya, M.D.

Originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Dr. Yelena Krupitskaya received her MD degree from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York and completed both her internal medicine internship and residency training at Montefiore Medical Center, University hospital of Albert Einstein. She went on to complete her medical oncology and hematology fellowship at Stanford Medical Center where she also worked on designing clinical trials of novel therapies. Dr. Krupitskaya is a principal author of four publications and an abstract presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting. She also speaks fluent Russian and conversational Spanish.
